There’s no doubt that we live in a beautiful part of the world! And that’s never more obvious to me than early morning as I drive down the Gold Coast Highway into Burleigh Heads towards my new office. I’m a Career Coach and LinkedIn Expert and I work in Burleigh Space, the newest coworking space in Burleigh Heads.
Watch The Surf
Situated on the second level above Ze Pickle and Connors, the office is open-plan with windows along the eastern side delivering views of the beach over the park and Burleigh Heads Bowls Club. Windows on the western side allow plenty of light in while the white and grey palette give an industrial feel to the room.
Big Desks
Desks are big, 1500 mm wide, providing lots of space for extra monitors, laptops, microphones, headphones, folders, cups of pens and water bottles. There are also smaller desks for the notebook brigade, ideal if you don’t need so much space and cheaper too.
High Speed Internet
Access to high speed internet is a must-have requirement for most businesses and Burleigh Space have NBN-quality wireless at 100/40 Mbps – speeds that most can only marvel at.
Meeting Room
Need to have a quiet chat with your client or colleague? The soundproof, air-conditioned meeting room is ideal for all your meeting needs, whether face-to-face, on the phone or online. Seats 6.
Parking
Parking is great. Burleigh Space is right across the road from the Alex Black Car Park which has a free parking area at the back adjacent to Ocean street. Just get there early, most of the free parks are gone by 8.30 am. The remainder of the Car Park is 4 hour parking as are the surrounding streets but go back a street or two and you’ll find free street side parking.
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee
I need coffee to get a good start on the day and there are a myriad of places to choose from right outside the door. Connors and the Coffee Shack are right downstairs and are perfect for coffee, breakfast or lunch. Of course Burleigh Space has coffee, tea, biscuits, soft drinks and beers for Friday afternoon drinks. There’s a fridge, microwave, electric jug, plates and cutlery and everything you need to have a snack or eat lunch.
Be Part Of A Community
One of the core values of Burleigh Space is the desire to foster and support collaboration and innovation through building a strong community. One of the ways, we’re doing this is by sponsoring meetups and events for small business owners, professionals and members of the local community.
